Dead Space Convergence is live through November 10
The Battlefield 6 x Dead Space event runs October 20 to November 10. What a limited-time mode does to weapon tables, and what to ignore until it ends.

The Battlefield 6 x Dead Space: Convergence event went live on October 20 and runs through November 10, 2026. It sits on top of Season 5 rather than replacing Vegas Strip or Area 51.
Source: the October 21 community update, which also confirmed the October 20 start.
A free-play window on PlayStation and Steam ran October 15–19, just before the event. Profiles that appeared this week with a thin match count and a wild K/D are often that weekend, not a new main. Give a new name a few evenings before you treat the headline numbers as a rank.
Why event weeks lie
Limited modes bunch kills into odd weapons and gadgets. A shotgun or a gadget you never equip in Conquest can shoot up the table for ten days and then go quiet. That is not a meta shift. It is the event.
During Convergence, read a profile like this:
- Career K/D and win rate — still the long picture. One event week cannot rewrite them unless the account is new.
- Time equipped — the filter that saves you. Sort weapons by time, not kills, and the event toy usually sits under your real guns.
- Maps — Vegas Strip and Area 51 playtime should keep climbing if the player is actually in Season 5 multiplayer. If map time is flat and kills are not, the event queue is where the week went.
- RedSec — leave it alone when you are judging the event. Convergence is not a battle royale season.
What to put on stream
If you are playing the event on stream, the session overlay is the honest one. It counts from the moment the browser source loads, so the night’s kills are not mixed with the career. Switch back to the full bar when you return to Conquest or Breakthrough.
Build that here: overlay builder. Session K/D and session wins are separate modules.
After November 10
When the event ends, do one pass:
- Sort weapons by kills and note anything that spiked.
- Sort the same table by time equipped.
- Keep the guns that earned time. Archive the ones that only existed for the event in your head, not in your loadout.
Phase 2 arrives the same day the event ends, November 10, with European Casino and a weapon balance pass. Studios have already said they are looking at extended magazines on the SCW-10 and KV9, plus buffs to underused attachments. Exact numbers were not in the October 21 note. Wait for the patch notes before you retire a gun based on a rumour.
The Season 5 map guide is the better companion if you are still learning Vegas and Area 51 between event matches.
